3For jthe time will come when they will not tolerate ksound doctrine; but wanting to have their ears tickled, they will accumulate for themselves teachers in accordance with their own desires, 4and they lwill turn their ears away from the truth and mwill turn aside to myths. 5But as for you, nuse self-restraint in all things, oendure hardship, do the work of an pevangelist, fulfill your qministry.

6 For I am already being rpoured out as a drink offering, and the time of smy departure has come. 7 tI have fought the good fight, I have finished uthe course, I have kept vthe faith; 8in the future there wis reserved for me xthe crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on ythat day; and not only to me, but also to zall who have loved His aaappearing.
